Experienced Director of Research

 

Position Available immediately.

 

Candidate to study the efficacy of our patented CO2 sterilization process and its subsequent effects on donor musculoskeletal tissue, engineered tissue and bioengineered materials. Manage and oversee the development and submission of independent research projects and conduct needs assessments; oversee data collection, input, and analysis, and evaluate program activities for proposal submissions. Additional duties include developing and implementing strategic grants with multiple projects, as well as coordinating the renewal of existing award applications, identifying and pursuing new and relevant grant opportunities, staying abreast of and interpreting grant management rules and regulations.

 

Applicants will a have PhD and 6-7 years of significant experience with biological and microbiology techniques, virology, and biomechanical testing. Successful candidates will be experienced in management and driven to complete and succeed in project goals under deadline pressures. Experience in writing federal grant applications and obtaining federal grant funding is required. Position requires the ability to organize, analyze and interpret complex medical, scientific and/or technical data and write clear, cogent communications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal communications skills are also required.

 

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
